Cooking Time: Depends on who is cooking (usually an hour)
Serves: Me for dinner
Ingredients
500gms mutton
500gms sliced onions
100gms chana dal
1 tsp haldi
2tsps red chilly powder
25 gm whole garam masala
5 chopped tomatoes
50 gms ginger-garlic paste
Salt
Oil for frying
100gms Curd
Method
- Marinate the mutton with 25 gms ginger-garlic paste for 30 mins.
- Fry the chopped onions till slightly brown.
- Add the chopped tomatoes, spices and 25gms ginger-garlic paste.
- Saute well till it gets a deep colour.
- Add the chana dal, spices and salt.
- Saute again.
- Add the marinated mutton.
- Add salt.
- Cook till done.
- Before serving, heat again, add the curd and boil for 10 mins.
- Garnish with dhania.
- Call me home for dinner.
